Dr Natalia is a Clinical Psychologist with years of experience working across both primary and secondary care NHS mental health services. Throughout her clinical practice, she has supported individuals across a broad spectrum of psychological presentations, offering clients an opportunity to gain clarity over their sense of self while providing deeply individualised care at a pace that works for them.
Her practice focuses on helping clients make sense of the different parts of themselves, process painful experiences, and understand the internal and external barriers preventing them from moving forward. Working integratively in a warm and non-judgemental environment, Natalia combines evidence-based therapies with a deep appreciation for each person’s unique background, values, and strengths to foster lasting change and guide clients toward the life they want to live.
She provides specialised support for a wide range of difficulties, including trauma, depression, anxiety disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and experiences of loss and grief, as well as broader challenges such as low self-esteem, perfectionism, emotional regulation, and stress. Alongside these areas, Natalia has a particular focus on relational dynamics, drawing on a systemic approach to support people navigating identity development, self-discovery, complex family or relationship patterns, and major life transitions.
How We Will Work Together
Natalia draws flexibly from a range of evidence-based psychological frameworks, ensuring therapy is structured, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s specific goals:
- Psychodynamic & Relational Approaches: Exploring underlying patterns, early experiences, and relational dynamics to illuminate how they shape current choices, boundaries, and sense of self.
- Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) & Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT): Cultivating psychological flexibility, supporting grief work, reducing self-criticism, and helping clients take meaningful steps toward their personal values.
- Systemic Frameworks: Understanding how relationships, family history, and broader life contexts influence current wellbeing, helping clients establish healthier boundaries and relational patterns.
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT): Providing practical, evidence-based strategies to break cycles of anxious or obsessive thoughts, low mood, and unhelpful behavioural loops, particularly for OCD, anxiety, and depression.
- Trauma-Focused Frameworks (TF-CBT & Narrative Exposure Therapy): Utilising structured, evidence-based methods to safely process traumatic memories and difficult life events, restoring a sense of safety and agency in the present.
Rather than adhering rigidly to a single therapeutic model, Natalia integrates these approaches dynamically to support each individual’s pace and preferences.
Professional Background
Natalia is a University College London (UCL) trained Clinical Psychologist with experience delivering psychological assessment and therapy across NHS primary, secondary, and specialist tertiary services, as well as charities. Her clinical experience spans a wide breadth of settings, including NHS Talking Therapies (IAPT), specialist Community Mental Health Teams (CMHT), and a young adult psychodynamic counselling charity. She has worked extensively within specialist NHS services for complex depression, anxiety, and trauma, supporting individuals who have previously undertaken psychological therapy without finding long-term relief.
Alongside her core clinical work, Natalia’s doctoral research focused on complex PTSD and the most effective psychological interventions for managing emotional difficulties, interpersonal problems, and a negative sense of self. Her research also explored how early relationship experiences shape a person’s ability to trust, communicate, and form safe therapeutic connections, insights she directly integrates into building a strong, collaborative, and effective therapeutic alliance with her clients.
