Noah Solarin
Systemic Psychotherapist, Family Therapist, Couple & Relationship Counsellor, UKCP accredited

” We are always in the process of becoming—both as individuals and within our relationships.”

Noah Solarin is a highly experienced systemic psychotherapist specialising in couple counselling, with over 13 years of clinical work across adult mental health, children’s services, and family systems. His approach is relational, thoughtful, and grounded in a deep understanding of how individual experiences, family dynamics, and wider systems shape relationships.

Noah works with couples navigating communication difficulties, conflict, emotional disconnection, and the impact of mental health challenges within the relationship. He offers a calm and supportive space where both partners can feel heard, explore patterns together, and begin to rebuild understanding and connection.

He recognises that each person brings their own story into the relationship. In his work, Noah gently supports couples in reconnecting with moments of closeness, those early experiences that first brought them together. Sometimes this may involve reflecting on meaningful memories, a place, a piece of music, or an image that holds a sense of connection. Revisiting these moments can help create space from cycles of conflict and open the possibility of reconnecting in a more compassionate way.

Drawing on systemic thinking, alongside a range of therapeutic methodologies, Noah supports couples in stepping back from entrenched patterns and finding new ways of relating that feel more secure, respectful, and sustainable.

Alongside his work with couples, Noah brings extensive experience supporting families affected by complex mental health presentations, including psychosis, mood disorders, and personality difficulties. His systemic approach allows him to hold the wider context—family, culture, and community—while supporting meaningful change within relationships.

Noah has contributed to the field through published work on collaborative practice between adult and child mental health services, and on creative approaches to supporting families experiencing severe mental health challenges. He is also a lecturer and tutor at the Institute of Family Therapy, London, and a qualified systemic supervisor.
