Delfina Krause
Msc. & Mag Psychologist, Psychotherapist & Coach
“The mind is a mirror, therapy helps us clean the glass and see ourselves clearly.”
Delfina Krause offers a compassionate and structured space for individuals navigating emotional complexity, life transitions, and identity shifts. Her integrative and person-centered approach combines psychodynamic insight with behavioural strategies, helping clients reduce symptoms while exploring the deeper roots of their experiences.
With over a decade of experience across public mental health, private practice, and startup environments, Delfina brings clinical depth and real-world understanding to her work. She has lived and practiced in Buenos Aires, Vienna, and London, and her international background informs her sensitivity to cultural transitions and identity development.
Therapeutic Approach
Delfina’s practice is rooted in:
- Psychodynamic principles that support long-term insight and transformation
- Behavioral interventions to reduce distress and build coping strategies
- A person-centered, integrative framework that adapts to each client’s needs
- Relational depth and clinical structure, offering both safety and challenge
She believes therapy is not just about symptom relief, but about creating lasting change and a more authentic connection to self and others.
Delfina’s therapeutic process begins with a series of assessment interviews designed to understand the client’s emotional landscape, personal history, and current challenges. These initial sessions help establish a clear therapeutic direction and ensure that the support offered is tailored to the individual’s needs.
If the client is a minor, Delfina conducts a separate interview with the parents or guardians to gather essential background information and collaboratively define goals for the child or adolescent’s therapy. This step ensures that the therapeutic journey is grounded in understanding, safety, and shared commitment.
Following the assessment phase, Delfina works with each client to co-create a therapeutic plan. This may include weekly sessions, short-term interventions, or longer-term psychotherapy, depending on the nature of the concerns and the client’s preferences. Throughout the process, Delfina maintains a flexible and responsive approach, adapting to the emotional state and evolving needs of each person.
