Marianna Vogt,
Psychotherapist, Couple/Relationship Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor

“I work with clients’ emotional, intellectual, physical and relational selves to increase well-being, manage chronic feelings of distress, process past experiences and realise personal, creative and professional potential.”

With a deep commitment to fostering emotional well-being, creativity, and resilience, I offer a therapeutic approach that integrates drama, movement, and psychological exploration to support individuals through personal and professional challenges. I work with individuals, couples and families across a range of emotional, intellectual, and physical experiences, helping them navigate life transitions, process trauma, and unlock their creative and personal potential.

Therapeutic Approach

Every client’s journey is unique, and my approach is tailored to their specific needs. I combine talk therapy, movement-based techniques, and artistic expression—whether through breathwork, drama exercises, writing, or visual art—to facilitate healing and growth. Some sessions focus entirely on verbal processing, while others engage the body and creative mediums as powerful tools for self-discovery and transformation.

I believe that therapy is not just about restoring well-being—it is about reconnecting with joy and embracing life’s full spectrum of emotional experiences. Through collaborative exploration, clients gain insight into their past and present, using these reflections as stepping stones toward meaningful change and fulfilment.

Professional Background & Approach

I trained in Drama and Movement Therapy at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and qualified as a clinical supervisor at the Institute of Group Analysis. In addition to my private practice, I teach on the MA Dramatherapy and MA Movement Studies courses at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.

My professional experience spans schools throughout London, where I have supported children and families, as well as public and private hospitals in the UK and Germany, working with individuals facing diverse mental health challenges. I offer both individual and group supervision for therapists, counsellors, and professionals working in psychologically demanding environments.
