Sreena Pluck, Gestalt Psychotherapist
“I strive to create a therapeutic environment where all clients feel respected, understood and empowered.”
Sreena is a Gestalt Psychotherapist with over six years of clinical practice, working with groups, couples/intimate relationships, and individuals. Sreena also has extensive and ongoing experience in psychiatric treatment and care. She has experience in working with Identity, Sexuality, Abuse, Eating Disorders, Anxiety disorders, Depression, OCD, Personality Disorders, Panic Attacks, Grief, ADHD, Autism, Trauma and Addictions, including alcohol, narcotics and sex.
Sreena’s therapeutic approach is rooted in Gestalt Psychotherapy, a body-based, radical, holistic and socially connected model. In her practice, everything is relevant; nothing is dismissed. The therapy room is a place of tentative curiosity where clients explore their identities and experiences, aiming to increase understanding and awareness of patterns and deepen connections in various aspects of your life.
In addition to Gestalt, Sreena incorporates an Integrative Psychotherapy approach, offering insights from CBT, DBT, and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. All her practice is trauma-informed, mindful of intersectionality, and sensitive to identity-related issues. Sreena offers a safe space where one can examine how culture, community, religion, heritage and race can manifest in life and therapy.
My approach addresses the visible behaviours and underlying issues contributing to or sustaining a person’s troubles, recognising that one model does not fit all.
Sreena’s background includes working in bereavement services within a hospice environment, providing bereavement therapy to individuals, couples, and groups. With years of experience with VAWG and Gender Based Violence services across London, including Rape Crisis, Forward, and the Good Night Out Campaign, Sreena provides a confidential space to address issues related to domestic and sexual abuse, whether current or historical. She has her private clinic at Mayfair and Bloomsbury.
